It's been 17 excruciating years for the Kings faithful. Endless losing for a decade and a half, 2 relocation attempt, fans throwing up on the court, you name it, Kings fans have been through it all.

But it's for moments like tonight that show why the Kings fans are some of the best fans in the world, as all of that pent up energy and emotion was released and it powered the Kings to their 1st playoff win in 17 years against the Golden State Warriors in the Golden 1 Center.

The Kings definitely looked like they had playoff jitters, but once they got that under control, they went toe to toe with the defending champions. It was an absolute shootout, both teams hitting big shot after big shot, making big play after big play, ultimately ending with the Kings outlasting the Warriors to take the game.

This projects to be an incredible series as both teams have ridiculous firepower and are evenly matched across the board. The Kings have now drawn first blood on the Warriors, let's see how the champs respond in game 2.
