Which Type of Witch are you?
13 Types of Witches

Witchcraft is an art and a spiritual practice. It’s the use of tapping into the energy that exist all around us and working with that energy with balance and appreciation in order to create change in your environment. It is also the practice of exerting your will to get what you want out of life. Witches are aware of their power and use it to create! By recognizing your own personal power you are able manifest the life you want to live.

Misconceptions of witches

All witches are women! This is FALSE! A witch is gender neutral, both men and women are can identify as a witch, remember it is intentions and actions that make a witch, not gender or sexuality.

All witches are Satanist and worship the devil. FALSE With a long history of witches being tried and killed in the name of worshiping Satan, this myth runs deep. Its important to remind you that witches do not worship the devil and many don’t believe in the existence of hell. There is nothing satanic in witchcraft!

Not all witches are wicca. FALSE Wicca is an organized neopagan religion that includes magical practices.

Practicing witchcraft is expensive. FALSE This is not true! Before you spend that check on overpriced tools, first start with yourself, focus on growing your knowledge. The more you learn your path you'll notice that witchy tools are all around you: in your pantry, around your house and growing outside.

Three types of witches that are pretty popular are

The Garden Witch practices witchery through the plants that they often grow themselves. They are masters at maintaining and growing all types of plants. They usually have a garden outside or plants throughout their home.  They adore plants and feel the happiest in their presence.

The Garden Witch can be found speaking with their plants, tending and nurturing them, or maybe serenading them with music. They treat their plants with care and love and may become sad or emotional when they see plants being destroyed or not taken care of properly.  Plants are sacred to the Garden Witch, from the roots, the stems, the leaves, the flowers, and even any edible food they produce. Everything that a Garden Witch requires to create magick is located in their garden.

A Kitchen Witch can be found cooking up meals, sipping on potions, or exploring new recipes. They cook with intention and stir up more than tasty meals and delicious treats.  Their meals are filled with medicinal and magical ingredients.

Their magical tools are their pots, pans, utensils and anything else that will aid them in creating alchemy with their meals. In their practice, they use food as their main source of magick. Each meal is infused with purpose, created with care, love and gratitude.

They usually know a lot about herbs and other foods, such as vegetables, grains, fruits, and meats.

The Eclectic Witch is usually practiced by a Solitary Witch. Their beliefs and practices are personal and unique to them. An Eclectic Witch does not follow a single path of witchcraft, but incorporates many different beliefs and practices into their craft.

Many new witches consider themselves to be Eclectic Witches.  When first encountering the new and exciting world of witchcraft, there is often much to explore and learn.
