This Weeks Resident Host are:
Julie DuMay and Phil Mastrelli

Our Anthem Alive theme this week is about celebrating “Say Something Nice” day. Sometimes when life gets so busy, we forget how saying something nice, doing something nice, or giving a compliment, makes you feel good as well. Our Resident hosts Julie DuMay and Phil Mastrelli only have nice things to say about living here at Sun City Anthem. And it’s evident that they feel good about life and living in this community. SCA-TV Reporters Don and Linda Walsh have many good things to say and how to say it in their teachable moment piece. Because the Battle of Midway is also celebrated this week, SCA-TV Scriptwriter and Reporter Phil Schlaeger talks about an unsung hero of WW2 in his tribute to Dusty Kleiss. On Book Talk Irene Koncilja reviews the book The Ragged Edge of Night. Set in a small town in World War II Germany, it gives the readers a glimpse of the life and challenges of that time, as well as the small triumphs that lift the spirit. Songs and music have comforted the men and women fighting the war and their families and loved ones waiting for their return. And Yvonne Cloutier has a surprise feature on her segments Musical Moments. We also have one of the performances at Sun City Anthem Spotlight Club featuring the song There Is Nothing Like A Dame from the 1949 musical South Pacific. We have a clip of that for you to enjoy. In the last three episodes of Anthem Alive, we have included segments about World War II. Real life stories from SCA Veterans of World War II are recorded, compiled and accessible on the SCA- TV website through the ‘Freedom is Not Free web icon.
