Hey Scaredy Cats. Once I got into horror, there was one movie that I purposely avoided watching because the sheer idea of it scared me. Once I finally got up the nerve to watch it, I was terrified. That movie? The Exorcist. The first horror film to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, it was nominated for nine other Academy Awards, eventually winning Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Sound. It’s one of those movies that are rumoured to be cursed and when it was released in theatres, there were reports of heart attacks and miscarriages. On top of all of that, evangelist Billy Graham claimed a real demon lived in the celluloid reels of the movie. It’s a beautiful day for an exorcism, so join us as we fight the forces of evil.
