Welcome to SCI Care: What really matters, a new podcast brought to you by the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS). A podcast series to rethink current trends & the future potential of Spinal Cord Injury Management and cover SCI Care and all that really matters. With each episode, we will speak with experts from all over the world to discuss various aspects of spinal cord injury including etiology, prevention and care, providing valuable insights regarding the most up to date information for those providing care for the spinal cord injured. In some episodes, there will also be discussion on how societies of health care professionals, like ISCoS, can help improve the outcomes of spinal cord injured and the lived experience of consumers through strategic planning in the field of scientific/ research activities, education, training & capacity building, partnering/ collaboration, communication & advocacy. The opinions of our host and guests are their own.
