In this episode, Prof Ruth Marshall interviews Prof Charles Tator on what led him to neurosurgery, neurotrauma and SCI treatment. What came first treatment or research? They also discuss encouraging young researchers, mentorships, dual careers, working to prevent and friendships with the patient.
You can also see Prof Tator at this years ISCoS ASM as he gives the Guttman lecture where he will speak on the thrills he had experienced as a Spinal Cord Injury Researcher, including when he met Prof Guttman in person.
