Good John is back with another guest special, this time it's not a footballer or coach. He was joined by Actor and St Johnstone fan Colin McCredie.

Colin starts off by talking about the effects Covid has had on the acting industry and concerns for the future, though he was able to do some work by using his daughter's bedroom for a scene. He then goes through his acting career, mainly his role as DC Fraser in Taggart including working with fellow co-stars James McPherson, Blythe Duff, John Michie and Alex Norton. He talks at length about the storyline of his character revealing that he was gay and how that was received within the media, and also the sour axing of his character after 15 years on the show. He also covers off roles in River City, Wooly and Tig and Still Game as well as pantomine roles.

Away from the sets and stage, Colin talks fondly about his love for St Johnstone FC from the early 80's starring Ally McCoist and Jim Brogan to the present day. The interview couldn't be passed without recalling the clubs finest hour on 17 May 2014 when they won the Scottish Cup. He also gives his thoughts on the current squad and hopes for the season. We then round off with the usual slow fire questions, including who his ideal on-screen wife would be and a best Saints XI.
