In the latest guest special, John B is joined by current Rangers Women's player Rachel McLauchlan.

With the Women's game suspended until 14 February at the earliest, Rachel talks about the frustrations of not being able to kick a ball for nearly two months since the SWPL winter shutdown. She gives a lowdown on what she's doing to keep herself going through this latest lockdown, including dog walking and Disney jigsaw puzzles.

The conversation moves onto Rachel's career. She began at Inverness City in 2013 and played in the Highlands for a season before a two year stint at Aberdeen. In 2016, she moved to Hibs who established themselves as the Cup Queens of Scotland with three consecutive Scottish Cups and Scottish League Cups. In addition, Rachel won the first of her seven Scotland caps at the age of 19 against Holland, and played in Scotland's first ever finals at the Women's European Championships in 2017.

After six months at Yeovil, Rachel joined Glasgow City, where she won her first league title and fourth consecutive Scottish Cup success where they defeated her former club Hibs in a 4-3 thriller at Tynecastle. City also reached the Quarter Finals of the Champions League, before going down 9-1 to Wolfsburg, a game Rachel remembers as a football lesson.

Rachel then joined Rangers in December 2020. She talks about the lure of Rangers, becoming reunited with some of her former teammates at Hibs and City, ambitions for the club domestically and in Europe and hopes for a Scotland return. We round off with the usual quick fire questions, including a best XI.
