In the latest of our guest specials, John B is joined by celebrity Hibs fan Grant Stott.

The conversation starts by how the two arranged the podcast, which was when fellow actor Colin McCredie retweeted a pre-France '98 STV screenplay "The Game" starring the late Andy Gray, which was based around three friends watching the 1978 World Cup. Grant then talks about his current role hosting The Afternoon Show on BBC Radio Scotland and how much he enjoys that role.

We go back in time to delve into Grant's rise to fame from Go45 and See You, See Me through Wemyss Bay 902101 to Fully Booked, plus his stints hosting Children In Need Scotland. This leads onto his Panto roles and why he loves playing the Pantomine Villain, including such interestingly named characters like Flash Boaby, Gobina McPhlegm and Hibernia Hardup. Here's hoping that Panto will be back to normal this year after Covid killed off the Christmas tradition in 2020.

Grant describes his love of Hibs and how he didn't get into football until the early 90's when he decided to keep his Dad company. He discusses some of the strange times like the "Hands off Hibs" campaign through to that iconic 2016 Scottish Cup Final that ended a 114 year wait for the trophy. In addition, he gives an insight into the hospitality hosting and how it got his Dad to meet his heroes. He also became one of the last presenters of Scotsport with Andy Walker for two years in 2006, he talks about the privilege of hosting the show and the regret that STV were unable to keep it going.

We round off with the usual slow fire questions, including a Celebrity Hibs 6 a side team and Best Hibs XI.
