This week's episode of Scrambling with Dylan Otto features San Jose State University Golfer Antonia Malate.  Monterey area has always been known for their spectacular golf courses that everyone dreams of playing... Antonia Malate grew up playing them.  Her golf journey got started with the help of her father always being there to help her get better and push her to achieve the goals she had set for herself.   Malate's junior career consisted of playing in NCGA and JTNC events that had really good competition which helped her develop a great foundation.  This allowed her to qualify for events like the IMG Junior Worlds, the U.S. Women's Amateur, and win the 2018 NCGA Women's Amateur!  With this resume she decided to take it to the next level and started reaching out to colleges in the California area.  She was really looking for a university that would trust/believe in her so that she could develop even more as a player.  She committed to San Jose State University and is currently in her 5th year as a Spartan.  She's looking to go out with a bang as this is her last semester of college golf and wants to spend as much time with her teammates who she dearly loves.  Enjoy the show!
