This week's episode of Scrambling with Dylan Otto features USC commit Bailey Shoemaker.  What a career this young lady has had and she's not even in college yet!  She started getting into the game with the help of her father who was an avid golfer himself.  She grew up playing a 9 hole course that a family relative built themselves!  Bailey got started playing in competitive U.S. Kids events and was enjoying the start of her junior career.  Once she got older, she started getting invited to AJGA invitationals where she found herself struggling against kids that were 3 to 4 years old than her.  However, that was only the beginning of who Bailey Shoemaker is today, ever since 2020 she's proved to be one of the best amateurs out there!  Since 2020, she's qualified for big events the Women's U.S. Am, U.S. Girls Junior Am, Women's U.S. Open, and numerous LPGA Tour events... she never missed a cut in any of these.  You might be thinking, why doesn't she turn pro and start making money?  Shoemaker thinks differently and committed to USC at a very young age so that she has a backup plan in case golf doesn't work out.  Bailey is enjoying the remaining months before she gets going at USC and she can't wait to get started as a Trojan.  Enjoy the show!
