This week's episode of Scrambling with Dylan Otto features Howard University Golfer Everett Whiten Jr.  Everett started his golf journey when he was in 8th grade and was hooked from the beginning.  Whiten found success early when he qualified for the 2nd Annual Drive, Chip, and Putt championship which is played at Augusta National.  You might recognize him as the boy in the white Nike bucket hat featured on SportsCenter back in 2015.  After his junior and high school career ended, he committed to playing at Hampton University which was a great home for him until the program was cut during COVID.  However, Everett got picked up immediately by Coach Puryear and the Howard University program was born.  Since he started at Howard, Whiten has the honor of playing alongside his talented teammates, coaches, and guys like Stephen Curry who back the program at Howard.  Even though Everett has a couple years left at Howard, he's already getting experiences playing in professional events on the APGA and Korn Ferry Tour.  Enjoy the show!
