Episode 90: Michael Schaloum (Grand Canyon University Assistant Coach) - a podcast by Dylan Otto

This week's episode of Scrambling with Dylan Otto features Grand Canyon University Assistant Coach Michael Schaloum.  Michael's golf journey started at the age of 2 and some of his family claims it was even younger, but that wasn't the only sport he played growing up.  Tennis was in the picture for Michael in high school and even though he went on the tennis court to compete, it was always golf in his eyes.  Schaloum started his college career at the University of Redlands, but made a quick switch to the College of the Desert which he had a fair amount of success at.  He then transferred to GCU to play D1 golf which was always the dream he'd tell himself growing up.  Not only did he finish his playing career there, but he has started his coaching career there as well!  The 9 to 5 job straight out of college wasn't cutting it and he knew he had to get back into golf.  Coach Schaloum loves everything about GCU and even though he has big plans for his players/program, he's laser focused on being the best coach he can be.  Enjoy the show!
