Episode 92: Brandon Wilkins (Southern Methodist University Assistant Coach) - a podcast by Dylan Otto

This week's episode of Scrambling with Dylan Otto features SMU Assistant Coach Brandon Wilkins.  You see a lot of people that are from the state of Texas either move away and come back to Texas or they never leave.  Brandon's golf journey is just that!  He grew up in a small town called Aledo, Texas and was a solid player throughout his junior career shooting low numbers with the occasional high number.  Wilkins played his first two years of college golf at McLennan Community College where he was able to develop his game and see what competitive golf was like.  After his time at McLennan he found himself playing for Abilene Christian University, but that transition itself threw some obstacles at Wilkins.  Professional golf wasn't something Brandon wanted to get into and soon landed his first coaching job at his alma mater.  Since then he's loved every second of coaching and the places it's taken him.  Coach Wilkins is going into his 3rd season with SMU and is looking to do the best job he possibly can for not only his players, but for a program he believes in.  Enjoy the show!
