Welcome to the trailer for episode #179 with Change Please founder & CEO Cemal Ezel. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Cemal twice in October, both hosting him at my annual entrepreneur summit, as well as here for the British American Business SME forum that I host quarterly for them.

Cemal was Richard Branson's Startup of the year, was the $1 Million Chivas Venture winner and named UK Social Entrepreneur of the year.

Change Please train people who are homeless as barista'sand provide each person with a London living wage, bank account and mental health support. Their coffee is served onboard Virgin trains, planes and in Sainsbury's and they are now scaling up in the US.

He's also a friend who's journey I've followed closely for the last 4/5 years. He's got hell of a story to tell.

We chat about:

  • Distribution being the biggest challenge in scaling in the US
  • What the currency of the future is
