One of the IFFHS’s Top 100 Referees of All Time — 11-year FIFA listed and former Premier League and Football League referee who’s officiated many of the most notable matchups in the sport’s history — Keith Hackett joins me on Seb Talks Sports! Keith shares a whole host of incredible stories from his time both holding the whistle and off the pitch including the honour he received as one of the youngest ever referees to officiate the FA Cup Final in 1981, walking through Checkpoint Charlie with the Berlin Wall still standing on his way to referee one of his first ever internationals, breaking up THAT 21-man brawl between Manchester United and Arsenal in the 1990-91 season, improvising after forgetting his red card for a pre-season friendly, and many more!

You can find Keith on Facebook (Keith Hackett), Twitter (@HackettRef), LinkedIn (Keith Hackett), check out his regular columns on CaughtOffside online (www.caughtoffside.com/author/keithhackett), and send him an email on khackett3@sky.com.

Both tracks were made by music creator David E. Wilson who you can find on all good music streaming services, as well as Twitter (@4stillRunning) and Instagram (@4stillrunning).
