2004 Paralympic gold medalist and former T46 800m world record holder — 2000 Paralympic bronze medalist, 2006 World Championship gold medalist, three-time European Championship gold medalist, 2003 World Indoor Championship gold medalist and two-time Paralympic World Cup gold medalist — Danny Crates joins me on Seb Talks Sports! Danny talks about the car accident in 1994 in which he lost his right arm and coming to terms with it, reaching the heights of Paralympic gold at Athens 2004, being bestowed the honour of Team GB’s flag bearer for the Paralympics Games’ opening ceremony in 2008, dealing with the inevitabilities of injury and retirement, and much more!
