One of the greatest two-sport athletes of all time — Heisman Trophy- and NCAA National Championship-winning College Hall of Fame quarterback-turned-11-year NBA point guard for the New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets — Charlie Ward joins me on Seb Talks Sports! Charlie talks about his journey from freshman punter to Heisman Trophy-winning passer at Florida State, transitioning from football to basketball after leaving college, winning the 1999 Eastern Conference Finals with the New York Knicks as the eighth seed and battling it out with the San Antonio Spurs — his future team — for the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, playing under Pat Riley, Jeff Van Gundy and Gregg Popovich, and much more!

You can find Charlie on Instagram (@CharlieWardOfficial), Twitter (@RealCharlieWard), Facebook (Charlie Ward), and support the Charlie & Tonja Ward Family Foundation online (www.charlieward.org).

This interview was recorded on Monday 6th July, 2020.

Both tracks were made by music creator David E. Wilson who you can find on all good music streaming services, as well as Twitter (@4stillRunning) and Instagram (@4stillrunning).
