Welcome to Self-Evident and Forgotten, a podcast on the truths of liberty and odd opinions! Hosted by Stanton, Kristi, and Cody, we explore the beautiful ideas often forgotten today that have given life to a free, peaceful, and prosperous society.

History is an important study for not simply understanding what happened in the past, but for making sense of our current day. But it's not as simple as looking at a record of events. History is written by historians, fallible as any of us, and written using only the evidence that has survived to this day. Figuring out the human story requires a continual search for evidence of what has been lost and making sure we account for the inherent biases in our interpretive lenses. When we don't, we risk ignoring key truths and undermining the very principles that give rise to personal liberty, such as what has happened throughout all of modern academia, media, and even business.
