                Scorers Paradise.

We march on from The Memorial where course difficulty and elements became hard to navigate. To the 3M which is hosted by the 14th easiest course on tour. Prepare yourself gamblers, we are about to get low.

                                             Course and Storylines.

The course this week is TPC Twin Cities in… you guessed it, Minneapolis. The Par 71 7,481 yard “Easier” track was designed by The King himself, Arnold Palmer. What I think sets up as a very scorable 4 days, I also think we are going to find players that make a couple big numbers here due to the amount of water hazards, 27 to be exact. This is the Second time we have had the PGA tour play here, last year being the inaugural Matthew Wolff win with a final score of -21.

The highest priced Golfer this week is Dustin Johnson, even after back to back 80’s to miss the cut at memorial. Rick Gehman(@RickRunGood) posted on twitter that Rory McIlroy has only posted two 80+ cards in his last 740 rounds… Approximately 185 full tournaments. OOF.

Brooks Koepka is still on my radar as his bad play continues. Reports are that he has had another MRI on his surgically repaired knee, and the results are not 100%. I maybe feel like this could be a crutch for Brooks to keep playing bad and blame injuries… And then all of a sudden he wins the fucking PGA Championship again and no one is on him. It’s tough to tell, but regardless I’m off him this week.

In more of a local setting for myself, Calgarian Golfer and caddie for Martin Trainer; Aaron Crawford gets to make his debut at the 3M after qualifying through Monday’s entry event. His coach seems to think he could top 20 here with his scoring ability… Big words, but also not the greatest field, so who knows. He joins Martin Trainer at min price $6,000.

                               Metrics

Lets keep it simple, Strokes gained Tee-to-green, Ball Striking, Birdie average, and Par 5 eagles average MINUS Hole outs…. Simple enough, right?

                            DFS Breakdown

                                Top Tier

MY MAN Tony Finau($10.9k-DK) reeeeeealy caved in on Sunday at The Memorial, but I want to remember the good times when he was leading that tough course the first two days. I think the breakthrough is still prevalent and daunting. Maybe he keeps his scoring touch here and comes away with it.

Tommy Fleetwood($10.5k-DK) is making his jump over the pond to compete and prepare with the WGC and PGA Championship. Don’t get it twisted, Fleetwood can score with the best of them. Like 2019’s 3rd place finish at Bay Hill and 5th place PLAYERS Championship, both known for being scoring courses. Also looking for that first American soil win can’t hurt.

Paul Casey($10.1k-DK) is also the epitome of off the tee scorer, if you take away the 8 he shot on the Par 3 12th last week. I feel he could have made a good run at Rahm on the weekend.

                                         Values

Scott Stallings($7.6k-DK) fits my metrics and recent form

Charley Hoffman($7.4-DK) seems to be finding his off the tee game and averaging over 4 birdies a round

Aaron Wise($7.1k-DK) is RISK personified but Won the Byron Nelson with a score of -23, praying for a good putting week.

                             BOMB

Dominic Bozelli($6.0k-DK) if you are going for a hardcore stars and scrubs type lineup I think Bombzelli could be a differentiator for your lineups, only thing really going for him is 19th overall in birdie average this year… Do NOT look at his stats.

Good luck to everyone this week with ANOTHER Milly maker on Draftkings. If I don’t win it, I hope one of you readers do… Any of the 4 of you.
