For two years in a row, the Florida State Seminoles have upset the North Carolina Tar Heels in football.  North Carolina raced out to a 10-0 lead but quickly lost hold of the initiative. From that point on they never felt like they got their feet back under them. FSU played measured, ball control football, and widdled UNC down for the rest of the game.  Much of FSU’s offensive production came off of a career day for quarterback Jordan Travis. He stayed patient in the passing game and took the reigns of the leader of the running game. The threat of his legs opened things up for FSU’s talented stable of running backs. Jashaun Corbin and Treshaun Ward received the carries that many fans had been clamoring for and took full advantage of them.  Defensively FSU seems to be getting better on a game-by-game basis. Coverage was tight throughout the game and the defensive front is continuing to prove to be one of the better fronts in the conference. They let UNC quarterback Sam Howell run for over 100 yards but ultimately Howell was unable to beat the Seminoles using his feet.  There was a lot of good in this game but even coaches can’t see everything on a single watch. So join the guys at the Triple Option as they rewatch one of the most complete games FSU has played in years.
