The Florida State Seminoles took care of business at home against the University of Massachusetts Minutemen ending with a final tally of 59-3.

Quarterback Jordan Travis led a dynamic running game in the first half that saw multiple players get productive touches. It also gained enough separation for backup quarterback Chubba Purdy to get some run.

The defense still has some holes that need to be plugged but it’s hard to be too upset when they hold the opposing team to three points, all of which came off of a fumble on the opening kickoff.

There were also a lot of interesting schematic things to take away from this game. If you want an X’s and O’s perspective of the first real blowout FSU has experienced with Mike Norvell then join Kevin Little of the Triple Option as he gives his thoughts on the game which comes complete with a little chalk-talk.
