Shabbat Shalom!
As I've often shared, Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love the weather, the holidays and for the last 45 years it is the season Millie and I celebrate our anniversary! Happy Anniversary to my dear gift of God, my precious wife and friend! I can’t even imagine what my life would have been like without having Millie by my side as we have grown in our love of Yeshua together, committed our lives to seeing His kingdom purposes fulfilled and travelled all over the world proclaiming His Good News!
This Shabbat, October 24th, I will be sharing the second part of a message I began several weeks ago. We have been looking at Jacob’s blessings over his 12 sons and how God is a God of redemption and restoration, not only to the tribes of Israel but to us today! Out of the greatest dysfunction, our God is able to make things new, to use imperfect and flawed humans in order to represent Him to a fallen world. Many of our ladies will be attending the first Colorado Messianic Women's Fellowship retreat but come on out and enjoy fellowship, awesome worship and inspiring teaching!
Hebrew classes began last week, so if you are interested in learning how to read the Scriptures in their original language, come on out and join the class at 9am in the downstairs fellowship room. If interested, contact Kent Brown at (970)702-4111 and stay for the service. This is not only a valuable tool in studying scripture, it is a lot of fun!
ALSO, WE WILL HAVE OUR MEN’S GROUP KICKOFF ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST FROM 10AM-12 AT RABBI STEWART’S HOUSE! MEN, COME ON OUT AND LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER AND ENJOY COFFEE, JUICE AND MUFFINS. IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR OWN BREAKFAST DISH, BRING IT ON!
Again, the elections are right around the corner so let’s ramp up our prayer and get out and vote! Also, pray for our ladies this weekend on their retreat and I look forward to seeing you at Shabbat!
