B.L.A.M.E.-1 KINGS 18-1-19--- Blame---------------- Blame---------------- Blame-shift - WHY----1- Because we are moral beings----2- Because we are fallen beings----BLAME-WORTHY- AHAB OR ELIJAH---- Verse 2 --Cf. 1 KINGS 17-1 - And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, -As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.---LUKE 4-25 - But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land---- Verse 17 - Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, -Is that you, O troubler of Israel----o Past history--JOSHUA 7-25 - And Joshua said, -Why have you troubled us- The Lord will trouble you this day.- So all Israel stoned him with stones- and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.---o Future reference--LUKE 23-2, 5 - And they began to accuse Him, saying, -We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.- . . .
