Gen 3-15 - God Promises A Saviour--What Does -Christmas- mean to you---Gen 3-15 -And I will put ---------- between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed- He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.----1- Why did God make this promise---a- Because man fell into sin and cannot save himself from sin.-Gen 1-1 -In the beginning, God created the heavens - the earth.--Gen 1-31 -God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good- --Who is the serpent mentioned in Gen 3-1--Rev 12-9 -this serpent of old- is-called the Devil and Satan--Jude 6 -the angels who did not keep their proper domain- -Mat 13-9 -the wicked one- John 12-31 -the ruler of this world- -2 Cor 4-4 -the god of this age- Eph 2-2 -the prince of the power of the air- -1 John 3-8 -He who sins is of the devil--John 8-44 -You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do---After falling into sin, our natural state is to do what pleases the devil and what pleases our flesh. -At this rate, we will end up in hell with the angels who sinned.-2 Pet 2-4 -God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgement.---b- Because God is merciful and gracious -God made this promise so that sinful man may know that their hope is not in themselves.
