If you do well, will you not be accepted---- Why did God not accept Cain's offering---- Heb 11-4,6 -by faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain-without faith it is impossible to please Him---- Mal 1-13, -You also say, 'Oh, what a weariness-' And you sneer at it,- Says the Lord of hosts. -And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick- Thus you bring an offering- Should I accept this from your hand-- Says the Lord.---- Who was Cain angry with and why- How deceptive is sinful anger------- ----3- ANGER --------------------- --- Gen 4-7, -And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. They consciously experience the flare-up of negative thoughts and emotions towards someone who has displeased them, they do not identify this as anger, especially sinful anger. They focus on the other person's wrongdoing and justify their own reaction.
