What are we before we became a Christian- v1-3--1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience- 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. -Eph 2-1-3, ESV---4 Then the serpent said to the woman, -You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.- -Gen 3- 4-5, NKJV---5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews- concerning the law, a Pharisee- 6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church- concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. -Phil 3- 5-6, NKJV---And Saul agreed completely with killing him. -Acts 8-1, NET---The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him.
