Health pandemics e.g. Spanish flu, SARS, MERS, Swine Flu, Ebola, COVID-19.---2. SURVEY OF THE TEXT--a. God carried out an assessment on Mankind and He saw a large-scale moral crisis.--b. God weighed the hearts of Mankind and found them to be fountains of continuous evil.--3. DOCTRINES INFERRED--a. God will check Man's conduct against what is in his heart. -Acts 13-22, Matt. 15-8, Luke 16-15.--b. God reveals that Man's whole heart is in a very bad condition.-i. Extent - All four fountains of his heart are evil.--ii. Cause - His heart is infected by sin.--iii. Duration - His heart has not changed since Gen. 6-5. -4. DOCTRINES APPLIED--a. To the non-Christians-i. Admit that your heart is infected with sin. Matt. 15-19, Rom. 5-12.--ii. Know that God prizes holiness more than sin. Gen. 8. --iii. Know that it's not the flood but the blood of Christ that purifies Man's heart. -- -and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin-- 1 John 1 -7-- BELIEVE THIS----b. To the Christians-i. Live consistent inwardly and outwardly. Matt. 12-35, Gal. 6-10.--ii. Grieved over the pandemic caused by sin. Gen. 6-6
