LESSONS ON SALVATION- THE CONVERSION OF CORNELIUS--Acts 10-30-48--1. TO FIND SALVATION IS THE GREATEST NEED OF MAN--Matt 16-26--For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul- Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul---Matt 10-28--And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.--2 Thess 1-8-9--in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,--2. SALVATION IS WITHOUT DISTINCTION--Acts 10-1--There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment.--John 3-16--For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.--3. TO SEEK SALVATION, YOU NEED TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD Rom 10-17--So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.--------6--4. TO SEEK SALVATION, YOU NEED TO KNOW WHO JESUS IS--Acts 10-2--a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always.--Acts 10-22--And they said, -Cornelius the centurion, a just man, one who fears God and has a good reputation among all the nation of the Jews.--Verse 36 - Jesus is the Mediator. Verse 36 - Jesus is the King of kings. Verse 38 - Jesus is the Messiah. Verse 39 - Jesus died on the cross. Verse 40 - 41 - Jesus rose again. Verse 42 - Jesus is the Judge.--Verse 43 - Jesus is the Saviour.
