Acts 26-9-18---3. DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE UNDER THE POWER OF SIN---a. Man's sinful state. v18--i. Sin causes a person to live in spiritual blindness.-- Ignorant of God. Ps 14-1-- Ignorant of himself. Acts 17-30-- Ignorant of life. Eph 4-18 --ii. Sin causes a person to live in spiritual darkness.-- Spiritually dead. Rom 3-10-18-- Conforms to the world. Rom 12-2, Eph 2-2-- Consumed by his lusts. Eph 2-3--iii. Sin causes a person to live in spiritual bondage.-- Will taken captive by Satan. 2 Tim 2-26-- Mind shut out from the gospel. 2 Cor 4-3-4-- Under the power to do Satan's will. 1 John 3-8--iv. You are living in spiritual blindness, darkness and bondage. v17-----b. Your sinful state and God.--i. He has offended God. Ps 7-11-ii. He is separated from God. Isa 59-2, Eph 2-12--c. Your sinful state and Judgement Day.--i. Accountable for unbelief. Rom 14-12-ii. Punishment for unbelief. Rom 2-5-9---4. DO YOU KNOW YOU CAN BE DELIVERED FROM THE POWER OF SIN---a. Have faith in Jesus- He is your everything for your spiritual problems.--i. He is the image of the invisible God. Col 1-15, Heb 1-3, John 14-9
