LEVITICUS 18-25-27 ---I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. -If he commits iniquity, -I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.-2 SAMUEL 7-14--Shameful consequence- the loss of prosperity -verses 25-28--Painful consequence- the loss of peace -verse 30-- -2- ABIJAM- THE KING WHO WASN'T ANY BETTER--15-3 - And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him- his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David.-------3- ASA- THE KING WHO WAS BETTER BUT STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH--15-11 - Asa did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did his father David---15-14 - . . . Nevertheless Asa's heart was loyal to the LORD all his days.
