S?rat ?l Falaq is considered to be one of the most recited S?rahs of the Noble Qur??n. It is regarded as an extremely virtuous and blessed S?rah and it is one of the best s?rats ever to be revealed.

The Prophet ? says, ‘All?h has revealed two s?rats to me this night, the likes of which have never been seen before. They are S?rat ?l N?s and S?rat ?l Falaq’. [?abr?n?]

Along with lessons and wisdoms, these s?rats also have protecting, guarding and preserving qualities. For this reason, the Prophet ? himself would seek refuge in All?h from the evil eye of men and Jinn by reciting these two s?rahs. [Tirmidh?]

This particular s?rah begins with mention of daybreak and the evils of all that All?h has created. The subsequent verses are about the evils of the night, witchcraft, sorcery and magic. The s?rah is concluded with the mention of the evil and disastrous effects of envy.

Appreciate and value the words of All?h by listening to a detailed exegesis of this s?rah. By developing a deep understanding of this s?rah and its application our worship will become more meaningful.
