Do you know that familiar feeling of being placed in the waiting room?  Where you sit and play the waiting game. Every time the door opens, your eyes quickly shift to see if it’s your doctor coming out to give you the report on your loved one. It’s not a fun or pleasant feeling. What if we told you that God often places us in the waiting room? The waiting room is a place where we are only told to trust Him to work it all out.  There are no hints shared about what’s to come out of the waiting or on the timing of when it will all play out.  Nothing about waiting is easy.  When we try and take the lead over the drivers seat, we are interfering with the work only God can do; delaying the process of His perfect plan for our lives. 

God's delay sometimes seems like denial.  While sometimes this is true, other times it's not.  Embrace the wait and trust God through it all, giving God all the control!

It's in the waiting where God works on us.  Think back on past times when you were placed in the waiting room, can you see now that God's hand was all over it and He was up to something so amazing?  Rest in knowing that waiting is a pathway to protection.
