How can Jesus say we should give freely because freely we have been given. then he turns and say we should not carry extra money or clothing because the workman is worthy of his wages. To me that might sound like a double standard. However, God also wants us to know that he will provide our needs when he sends us out to do his work. But the enemy will tempt you and  spiritual attacks on the finances of Christian leaders can take a toll to the extent that it cripples every aspect of their ministry turning them into a preaching for stomach messengers who have forgotten their real mission and are only out for the money. My prayer for you and me is that the Lord helps us to escape this temptation in our days and do right before God and his people in Jesus name.
