After 16 years in Risk Management and Insurance, Megan wanted to take her passion for fundraising to the next level. As a Spencer Scholar herself, Megan now works closely with strategic partners of the Spencer Educational Foundation to fund education, create awareness, and build a strong talent pipeline for the Insurance and Risk Management Industry.

 

Spencer was founded in 1979 and to this day remains the premier organization funding the education of tomorrow’s risk management and insurance leaders.

 

Education, awareness and the talent pipeline for the Insurance and Risk Management sectors are reoccurring discussion points with leaders on the show. In this episode, Megan and Mike outline how Spencer is helping to build a talent pipeline, why this activity is important, how Spencer is raising the profile of Risk Management and Insurance, how they dealt with the pandemic as an organization and how industry and individuals can both support the Spencer Education Foundation.
