Subhajit is a newsroom leader and a Digital Media expert.

He has headed Delhi & North East Bureaus for one of India’s leading news organisations, CNN-NEWS18. His specialisation lies in the ideation, optimization and monetisation of video content

He has been an investigative journalist who has extensively covered humanitarian crisis, counter-terrorism, internal conflicts & forced migration. His investigative documentary on ethnic killings of Assam led him to win the prestigious 'Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism' in 2016 .

During our chat, we talk about his journey and his experience of finding his feet while moving from a small town to big cities. We also talk about evolution of journalism in the digital age, how real stories that matter can be told and hear his advice to young people who are looking to enter the large ecosystem of news presentation.
