Welcome to the Sing Second Sports Podcast--a weekly pod for Navy fans by Navy fans. On this episode we are joined by Bill Wagner of the Annapolis Capital, special guests—-Women's Track and Field star MIDN 1/C Chelsey Edwards, Men's Water polo Coach Nicolao and Water Polo Alums CAPT Jason Salata '94 and Steve Salata '97.

Chelsey Edwards - In her two and a half years, Chelsey has helped the Navy women's team claim four Patriot League Championships (Indoor – 2019, '20; Outdoor – 2018, '19), while earning three stars (Indoor – 2020; Outdoor – 2018, '19) during the annual Army-Navy Star Meet. She is a six-time Patriot League Champion and nine-time All-Patriot League performer (top two finisher).Coach Nicolao- Luis Nicolao is the USNA Water Polo Head Coach. He graduated from the Naval Academy in the Class of 1992. Nicalao was recently selected for the 2020 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Hall of Fame induction, the first for an active head coach and player. As a Water Polo player at Navy, he was a 3x All American and received the NAAA Sword for Men.
He joined his alma mater as the head coach in January 2018. Previously, he served as the Princeton Head Coach for both Men’s and Women’s water polo for 20 seasonsJason Salata - Jason was USNA Class of 1994 and played Varsity Water Polo all four years. Captain Salata continues his decorated 26-year career as a public affairs officer and Spokesman for NATO. He and his family live in Southern Italy.

Steve Salata - Steve was USNA Class of 1997 and played Varsity Water Polo all four years. Steve served as a SWO and moved on to COMCAST, where he now is a Senior Executive. Steve and his family live in Philadelphia, PA.***Credit and disclaimer:
