Carmen works with founders and CEOs to help create environmental and social impact in their business through strategy. She does this by looking at their business models to see if, together, they can create a better impact on the planet and in their communities.
Meg and the Six Figs team is currently in the process of working with Carmen on creating a sustainability plan and applying to receive a B-Corp Certification. If you’re unsure, Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
We discuss how working with Carmen through this process has helped us identify what we’re doing and not doing. Then, strategizing how to do the work. This is all about creating the vision, paving the way and maintaining a strong mission.
