Originally from South Africa Greg Vorster has spent nearly a decade combing the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island. Through detailed analysis of nautical charts, talks with old salts and hours spent neck deep in salal he began to piece together the intel needed to discover waves few people have ever seen. That combined with the screw loose mentality to go out and ride these waves often in complete isolation. Which is where mate Curtis Prior comes in, one of the few willing to join in on these out gambles and chase monster swells through the remote corners of the Pacific Northwest. It took the perspective and curiosity of two expats to unlock these waves which had laid dormant until now.
