40. Slender Man Attempted Murder Case - a podcast by Dani Peak and Carly Peak

We have a special episode for you today! For our last spooky episode, Dani and Carly are both covering the Slender Man attempted murder case.  

Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier tried to kill their friend Peyton Leutner. Both girls believed they were in danger, that Slender Man would hurt them and their families, but by killing Peyton they'd be saved. Morgan and Anissa planned the murder for months, they read how to kill someone, pleading insanity, and made a list of the things they need for the murder. 

Luckily, Peyton was strong enough to survive her wounds and emergency, and she is now trying to live a normal life. She says her attack made her who she is today and she wouldn't change that.
