We are into the second week in February and love is in the air. If there is a central theme for this week’s show, then we guess love would be it.

In the first half of this week’s episode of SMI Radio's Greg Roth has a great conversation with founding Heart member and 2012 Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame nominee, Roger Fisher. Recently, Roger has put together a wonderful video and spiritually moving arrangement of a number that he, Ann and Nancy Wilson penned in 1975, “Love Alive”

In the second half of the show I interview Jeremy Westfall. Jeremy is the driving force behind Northest LoveFest 2012. The music festival which was established in 2010. The Festival took place in Fremont that year and last year. The festival was so well received that that it is being moved to a larger venue this year.

The festival has featured some of the best Northwest talent around. This years festival promises to be even more ambitious. This Friday night at Nectar Lounge will be the official kick off event for the festival.

The show will feature two stellar bands and SMI Radio guests, Perry Acker, Cody Beebe and The Crooks and Portland based, Redwood Son. I will feature selections from these artists this week as well.
