Peaceful Roots is a Yoga and Holistic Fitness Center in Phoenix, Arizona.  Our aim in opening the studio is to create a healthy environment so that you can create a healthier YOU. 

Yoga Therapy is a tool for learning a deeper sense of self-awareness and understanding.  Yoga helps us to discover our inner creator and teaches us to become masters of our house.  When we use yoga on the path of life, we become more in tune with our connection to life, and thus the external chaos becomes less. 

Our master personal trainers are also yoga teachers, so we approach the lifting of weights different than most other trainers out there.  We use the holistic approach - total understanding of the body, mind and it’s complexities. 

Denny Richard is a Certified Personal Trainer, FRA, ACSM; 200 Hour RYT & 80 Hour RYT - Hatha, Kriya, and Tantra Yoga; Reiki I Practitioner. He is passionate about aiding people along their paths to wellness by helping them understand their bodies, minds, and spirits.

Wendy Reese is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, ACSM certified Personal Trainer, and certified mat Pilates instructor. Her yoga teaching style is Hatha with many influences all of which incorporate tradition, breath, spirituality, body alignment, and FUN!
Wendy’s Book, The Accidental Yoga Teacher, is an enlightening journey of self-discovery.  She takes readers on a journey to find balance in the midst of daily chaos.
