Want to teach your kids about project flow in the workplace? Or how to regurgitate information in an audience-friendly way? What about professional conversations involving compliments and criticism? As well as basic graphic design skills? Then this is for you! This lesson plan analysis is all about how students learn about research, current events, workplace set up, professional conversations, graphic design strengths, and analyzing media by creating a pamphlet. The lesson plan is below.

Here is a general summary of the lesson plan. Let me know if you have any questions!

The assignment will require you to analyze and identify the strengths of pamphlets. Then you will research Coronavirus and public health to create a trifold pamphlet that informs elementary students and their parents about those topics. You should have a coherent color scheme and design ideas as well as accurate, age-appropriate and informative content. After the rough draft is created you will week with a peer and review each other’s pamphlets. Then you will create your final pamphlet, the class will vote for their favorite. The class favorite will be mass-produced and sent to the elementary schools. The goal is to learn how to research, give age-appropriate information, and create a professionally designed pamphlet. You will learn to collaborate, be creative and work toward a deadline.
