Dr. Stacy Kratz, PhD, LCSW, CAP, has been a psychotherapist and community activist since 2006. Dr. Kratz was elected to the Executive Leadership Team of the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS) in 2019 and is a member of the Committee on Clinical Sport Social Work and Provider Network. She also serves as co-lead for the Committee on International Sport Social Work , focusing on the power and use of sport for development as a key platform to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.


Her most recent publications include the first-ever chapter on Sport Social Work in the Social Workers’ Desk Reference, 4 th ed., and the first peer-reviewed journal article on the role of social work in ending human trafficking that occurs in the name of sport: Ending Human Trafficking in Sport - A Playbook for Forward Progress.
