Fastpitch softball coach Carol Bruggeman explains in this video how she uses the Cardinal Race Drill to benefit her softball team. This is a team infield drill between one infielder and one base runner. After the runner has been either tagged out or not that base runner will proceed to score while the infielders throw to each base and try to end with the ball at home before the runner get there!
