Welcome to Solvable Mysteries Podcast, hosted by Juras Sim and co-hosted by Glenn Highcove.  In this episode we analyze and recount the infamous case of Ariel Castro, a serial abuser and kidnapper who abducted and kept three young women as slaves in his house in Cleveland.  These young women, Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJeseus, were kept locked in different rooms of Castro's house, in chains, and behind locked doors, where he sexually and physically abused them for years.  In the case of Amanda Berry, he conceived and raised a child with her.  We discuss the incompetent investigation and missed clues of the case, and then analyze the personality of someone like Ariel Castro.  Why did Castro do what he did?  This was a solvable mystery we attempted to tackle on this show, one of our most in-depth and hard-hitting solvable mystery podcasts.
