What caused the mysterious deaths of the Russian students in the infamous Dyatlov Pass Incident?  This week on Solvable Mysteries we cover the bewildering and mysterious case of Dyatlov Pass, where 9 Russian cross-country skiers met tragic and unnatural deaths while attempting their greatest voyage ever.

Welcome to Solvable Mysteries Podcast, hosted by Juras Sim and co-hosted by Glenn Highcove.

During this episode we review the facts and theories that surround the infamous Dylatov Pass Incident of 1959, where 9 Russian students inexplicably left a 10 person tent in the middle of a raging blizzard, on a snowy mountainside, only to freeze to death shortly thereafter. Intriguingly, four of the 9 adventurers had injuries that were deemed unnatural by investigators, and did not fit the scenario and evidence of what happened to the other 5 students, inspiring interest in the case to this day.  We discuss and debate various theories as to what could have happened, including death from avalanche, katabatic winds, wild animals, and even UFO's, before coming to an agreement on what we think the solution to this case is.
