What happened to Heather Elvis the night she went to go meet the married man she had an affair with in the early hours of December 18, 2013? This week on Solvable Mysteries we examine the disturbing case of Heather Elvis, a 20 year-old woman whose love triangle with married man Sidney Moorer may have led to her kidnapping or death at the hands of an angry spouse or a married boyfriend who felt cornered by a potential pregnancy with his fling.

On this week's show we investigate the controversial 2013 disappearance of Heather Elvis, which led to several trials and eventual conviction of Sidney and Tammy Moorer on some charges, while others are still pending, including any information relating to her ultimate fate.  Heather disappeared after allegedly going to meet Sidney at Peachtree Landing in the early AM hours of December 18, 2013, in a secluded and rural area.  She was never seen again, and as we discuss, there are many circumstantial clues that point to the apparent involvement of both Sidney and Tammy Moorer.  Additionally, Tammy had made threats over several months and had a reputation for being controlling and unhinged.  In a retrial in 2019, both Tammy and Sidney were found guilty of kidnapping (but not murder) and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
