Welcome to Solvable Mysteries Podcast, hosted by Juras Šimkus and co-hosted by Glenn Highcove.  During this episode we discuss one of the most controversial and talked-about mass sightings of a UFO, with hundreds, potentially thousands, reporting they saw a craft miles long traversing the skies over Nevada and Arizona, next to Phoenix.  In the decades since, the military has claimed that they were the culprits who cause the phenomena, while former governor Fife Symington, who had poked fun at the incident at the time, now says he thinks something beyond this world was traversing his fair state.  Juras and Glenn discuss the theories, evidence, and potential motives for why the military might take credit for an event that seemed out of this world and was viewed by so many residents of Arizona.
