Welcome to Solvable Mysteries Podcast, hosted by Juras Šimkus and co-hosted by Glenn Highcove.  During this episode we discuss the many theories around the sudden disappearance and strange death of Elisa Lam, who disappeared from her room at the Hotel Cecil in January 2013.  Disturbingly, she eventually was found dead in the water tanks on the hotel roof, and the water her corpse had been decomposing in was being piped to the hotel guests below, much to their horror.  We review the various theories around her behavior before the trip, her strange acts at the hotel itself, and the ways in which she could have ended up in that tank.  We also review some potential medical issues involving her antidepressant medication regime, her bevahior, and potential maladies that could have resulted as an unfortunate combination of the wrong chemicals, behavior, and her psychiatric medical history of bipolar behavior.
